Since our founding in 1975, we have dedicated ourselves to improving homes and lives throughout eastern Washington by providing exceptional products, professional installation, and unparalleled customer service.A Humble Beginning with Big Dreams
Perfection Glass was founded by Ron Linhoff, a determined 28-year-old with a vision for perfection. After Central Glass decided to go wholesale, Ron took a leap of faith, borrowing $5,000 from his father, Jack Linhoff, to open his own store. Just weeks later, the first cash order from Jack Carr allowed Ron to repay his father within 30 days. This milestone marked the start of a journey that would see Perfection Glass become a cornerstone of the Tri-City community.
As a USMC veteran, Ron brought discipline and high standards to his business. His expectation was simple but profound: to be perfect. Ron’s brothers, Russ and Stevie, were also an integral part of establishing the company, contributing their skills and dedication to help lay the foundation for its success. He partnered with trusted vendors like Andersen Windows and Milgard Windows, relationships that have endured for nearly 50 years and resulted in thousands of quality window installations.
Principles of Success
Ron measured success not only by financial growth but by the satisfaction of his employees and customers. A clean shop, organized trucks, and a happy crew were his benchmarks. He observed successful competitors, learning from their strengths and incorporating those lessons into Perfection Glass.
A core rule at Perfection Glass was taking responsibility for mistakes. Ron believed that while errors were inevitable, the response to those errors defined the company’s character. By prioritizing relationships and leaving lasting positive impressions, Perfection Glass earned its reputation as a trustworthy and customer-focused business..
A Legacy of Leadership
In 2006, Ron’s son, Shawn Linhoff, took over the reins. Growing up in the business, Shawn started by sweeping floors and gradually worked his way up through installing, running crews, and eventually leading sales. This hands-on experience shaped his leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement.
Shawn’s philosophy of “good is never good enough” fostered a culture of excellence. He emphasized teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction at every stage of the process—from the initial sale to job completion. Shawn’s focus on the installation crew led to the development of true window craftsmen, with extensive training and technical expertise honed at manufacturing plants.
Under Shawn’s leadership, Perfection Glass has grown into a highly successful company with over 80 full-time employees as of 2025. His dedication to innovation and collaboration, supported by local business mentors, has propelled the company to win “Tri-Cities Best” in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
